AB53-ASA1,1,2 An Act relating to: funding for engineering instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Rock County campus and making an appropriation

This bill provides $378,300 in general purpose revenue in each fiscal year of the 2005-07 biennium to add 5.0 FTE positions for the University of Wisconsin System in order for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville to provide engineering instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Rock County campus.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB53-ASA1, s. 1 Section 1. Appropriation changes; University of Wisconsin System.

AB53-ASA1,2,5 (1) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the board of regents of the University of Wisconsin System under section 20.285 (1) (a) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2005, the dollar amount is increased by $378,300 for fiscal year 2005-06 and the dollar amount is increased by $378,300 for fiscal year 2006-07 to increase the authorized FTE positions for the University of Wisconsin System by 5.0 GPR positions for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville to provide engineering instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Rock County campus.

AB53-ASA1, s. 2 Section 2. Effective date.

AB53-ASA1,2,8 (1) This act takes effect on the day after publication or on the day after publication of the 2005-07 biennial budget act, whichever is later.
